VINEYARDS

For more than a century, our family has farmed many of the same Napa Valley vineyards. Each site carries its own voice, shaped by soil, elevation, and climate. From the volcanic slopes of Howell Mountain to the deep clays of Rutherford and the fractured basalt above Clear Lake, our vineyards define the character and style of our wines.

THREE TEARS VINEYARD

THREE TEARS VINEYARD , HOWELL MOUNTAIN

High above the valley at 1,800 feet, the rocky volcanic soils of Howell Mountain give rise to wines of power, structure, and longevity. The Three Tears Vineyard is carved into a landscape of red tufa and white volcanic ash, producing small berries of intense concentration. Cool mountain nights preserve acidity, bringing balance to the site’s naturally bold character. The result is Cabernet Sauvignon of remarkable depth and complexity, a true mountain expression shaped by elevation, sunlight, and stone.

WINERY ESTATE VINEYARD

WINERY ESTATE VINEYARD, RUTHERFORD

Our Winery Estate vineyard is located directly in front of our winery off highway 29 in the heart of the Rutherford AVA.
Consisting of just 3.5 acres, this estate was planted to Merlot and Sangiovese in 2000. Our Sangiovese was planted
as an experiment to see how this popular Italian grape would perform in the fabled Rutherford dust,
this wine has now become a legacy at Pestoni Family. The location, weather and unique soils combine
to produce a lively wine with all the character one expects from this region.

PESTONI RANCH

PESTONI RANCH, RUTHERFORD

Henry and Lena Pestoni first planted our 55-acre Pestoni Ranch in the Rutherford AVA nearly a century ago.
Today this property is home to our Estate Sauvignon Blanc and produces grapes with wonderful tropical fruit notes,
ideal acidity, and an attractive minerality.

LONE ACRE VINEYARD

LONE ACRE VINEYARD, RUTHERFORD

In the heart of the Rutherford Bench and surrounded by some of the most storied vineyards in Napa Valley, Lone Acre reflects balance and precision. Deep alluvial soils layered with gravel and clay yield Cabernet Sauvignon with purity, depth, and structure, hallmarks of the Rutherford Dust. Morning light and cooling afternoon breezes create the conditions for wines of harmony, refinement, and grace. The site is less than one acre in size, producing limited quantities of hand-tended fruit from vines that express the true heart of Rutherford.

QUACKENBUSH MOUNTAIN VINEYARD

QUACKENBUSH MOUNTAIN VINEYARD, LAKE COUNTY

Perched high above Clear Lake at over 2,000 feet, Quackenbush Mountain is defined by its rugged volcanic slopes, fractured basalt, and mountain sunlight. Here, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Barbera grow together much as they did in our family’s earliest vineyards, producing wines of power, depth, and spice. The site’s Sobrante Hambright derived soils, rich in iron and born of ancient lava flows, share the same volcanic origins as Napa Valley’s famed eastern hillsides, yielding wines of remarkable minerality and tension. Cool nights and pure mountain air preserve freshness and lift, capturing the power of volcanic terroir through a lens of northern light and clarity.
