THREE TEARS VINEYARD

THREE TEARS VINEYARD , HOWELL MOUNTAIN

Located on the northern edge of the Howell Mountain AVA, this vineyard is planted in red rocky volcanic soils on three unique terraces that ascend
from 1,600 feet to 2,100 feet across the eastern face. This site benefits from thermals pushing up from the valley that warm the fruit at sunrise before
dropping into shade during the intense heat of the day. We believe the wines produced from this vineyard stand as a true testament to the complex
and opulent wines this mountain is known for producing: inky purple in the glass with plush lavish texture and concentrated fruit
that is balanced by soft yet penetrating tannins - the very definition of an iron fist in a velvet glove.

PESTONI RANCH

PESTONI RANCH, RUTHERFORD

Henry and Lena Pestoni first planted our 55-acre Pestoni Ranch in the Rutherford AVA nearly a century ago.
Today this property is home to our Estate Sauvignon Blanc and produces grapes with wonderful tropical fruit notes,
ideal acidity, and an attractive minerality.

Our Winery Estate vineyard is located directly in front of our winery off highway 29 in the heart of the Rutherford AVA.
Consisting of just 3.5 acres, this estate was planted to Merlot and Sangiovese in 2000. Our Sangiovese was planted
as an experiment to see how this popular Italian grape would perform in the fabled Rutherford dust,
this wine has now become a legacy at Pestoni Family. The location, weather and unique soils combine
to produce a lively wine with all the character one expects from this region.

LONE ACRE VINEYARD

LONE ACRE VINEYARD, RUTHERFORD

Geologically limited to a small stretch of the larger Rutherford AVA, the Rutherford Bench and its celebrated soils have historically produced some of the world's finest cabernets. Our small vineyard is both geographically and geologically located in the heart of this unique growing region. The grapes from this vineyard not only exhibit the classic earthy characteristics known as "Rutherford Dust" but also show the impeccable balance and vibrant flavor which have come to define wines from this historic wine growing appellation.

QUACKENBUSH MOUNTAIN VINEYARD

QUACKENBUSH MOUNTAIN VINEYARD, LAKE COUNTY

Our heritage vineyard in Lake County is planted to Petite Sirah, Barbera along with four of the oldest
pre-prohibition clones of Zinfandel in California: Deaver, Dupratt, Nova, and our family’s Domingos selection.
Sited at an altitude of 2,100 feet, this vineyard is located on some of the youngest volcanic soils in the contiguous United States.
These harsh, rocky mineral rich, nutrient deprived red soils prove the perfect place to reproduce the wines our great grandfather made
at his Howell Mountain winery over a century ago. Fragrant aromas of ripe expressive black fruit, bright sweet berry with
silky smooth texture and perfect density highlight the beautiful mountain wines produced from this vineyard.
